I don't even know where to start. But last night God gave me an incredible gift. Which is hardly fair since it was hubbys birthday yesterday but I am so glad to be able to share that I met vivi last night in a dream. I have never experienced such a real dream before and I know with 100% certainty that the little girl I met last night was in fact my daughter to be! Such peace I feel this morning leading up to our meeting this afternoon with our adoption practitioner. Knowing that she is safe and God is holding her.
It wasn't a long dream but so impactful.
I remember being in a small bright room. And little girl with short black came up and took my hand. She was walking but was short. Her hands were so soft. Oh so soft. I didn't get to see her face. Her hair was kind of funny. She led me to a red ride on toy and she showed me how she loves to ride. She was perfect. Pure perfection. This stood out for me since we are adopting a girl with potential minor correctable special needs. We won't know what needs those are for quite a while. But seeing her and knowing she is healthy gave me peace. She may need some medical attention when we get home, however she is exactly who God made her to be. The perfect daughter for hubby and me and I can't wait to meet her. Now more than ever. Bring on the home study interview tonight!
